Charlie

Charlie

FOUNDER

Charlie leads creative direction and community programmes — connecting people, art and neuroscience in everything floOoo makes. Charlie’s career as an academic Neuroscientist has allowed him to gain expertise in analysing and interpreting brain signals to understand relationships between the brain and behaviour. He holds undergraduate and PhD degrees from the university of Oxford, where his work has notably focussed on understanding the nature of memories that may lead to drug addiction; and currently how the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s disease can be detected and magnified using principled brain signal analysis approaches. At floOoo, Charlie is focussed on blending his neuroscientific insights and methodologies within broad holistic frameworks: connecting research, neurotechnology and stakeholder input to invigorate promising advances in societal wellbeing.
